Education
I graduated from Philippine Science High School - Main Campus in 2013 and I'm currently in my Junior year in the Ateneo de Manila University studying BS Environmental Science. Just this summer, I studied one semester of Environment and Resource Management in Brandenburg University of Technology - Cottbus in Germany, and participated in an Urban Planning summer school in Kigali, Rwanda.
Experience
I have tutoring experience from the past two years of helping my classmates with Math and Chemistry, and from teaching my younger siblings. I studied Piano for five years and can confidently teach basic piano to children in a creative way and encourage practice with take-home activities. I have good contact skills with children from teaching Kids Church for a long time and still meeting with a group of kids every week. When teaching, especially math, I like to make sure they understand what they are doing and why, starting with concepts and not just plain memorization. I enjoy tutoring because I like helping others understand clearly, become interested in their lessons, and have those "Aha!" moments.
